The YKR Happy Eel 80 mm / 5 g is the result of over two years of design, testing, and prototyping, with a single objective: to accurately reproduce the behavior of a live sand eel . Its small size, light weight, and combination of premium materials allow this model to stand out for its natural action, even on very slow retrieves.
The streamlined body profile, along with the small paddle tail, produces just the right amount of vibration to activate the full movement of the soft plastic lure at low speeds. The soft texture adds flexibility and realism, while the jig head and finishes are hand-painted and varnished to mimic the tones, reflections, and patterns characteristic of a real sand eel.
Equipped with durable and reliable VMC 7161 TI hooks , the Happy Eel 80 mm is ideal for light tackle fishing, shallow areas and fish that feed on young sand eels.
