GREEN PROJECT

Road to excellence

First of all, we wanted to explain the term "Green Project", it can refer to different initiatives related to sustainability and environmental protection. In this case we will talk about sport fishing and its link.

Sport fishing is a recreational activity that involves catching and releasing or retaining fish for entertainment and sport purposes. Unlike commercial fishing, which has as its primary goal to obtain fish for sale, sport fishing focuses on the experience of fishing itself.

Sport fishermen release safely caught fish and return them to the water, allowing them to continue breeding and maintaining the health of fish populations.

The Green Project and sport fishing can converge in an important synergy, as both aim at the conservation of the marine environment and the promotion of sustainable practices. Let's see how they are related: The Green Project in the context of sport fishing focuses on promoting responsible practices that protect aquatic ecosystems and maintain the health of fish populations. Here are some key aspects that connect the Green Project to sport fishing:

1. Conservation of marine species: Both the Green Project and sport fishing share a common interest in the conservation of marine species. Both seek to ensure the sustainability of fish stocks by adopting appropriate management measures, such as setting minimum catch and size limits for fish, as well as promoting responsible catch and release.

2. The protection of species is a fundamental aspect both in the Green Project and in sport fishing. Both are concerned with ensuring the conservation of species and their natural habitat. On the other hand is the Compliance with regulations it is essential to comply with the fishing regulations established by the competent authorities. These regulations include catch limits, minimum fish sizes and closed seasons. Respecting these measures helps to avoid overexploitation and protect fish stocks, achieving their reproduction and healthy growth.

3. Cleaning up marine litter: Marine litter, such as plastics and other waste, is a global problem that affects the oceans and their biodiversity, therefore, fishermen should not be aware of all this and act accordingly by not generating that marine litter.

4. Sustainable fishing: Overfishing and unsustainable fishing have a negative impact on marine ecosystems and the communities that depend on them.

With all this we would like to present the new range of more ecological rods and lures. In order to find an intermediate point between enjoying fishing, nature and at the same time not damaging the ecosystem, the new YKR rods and lures are born. After many years of experience in sport fishing we try to go further and innovate in safer rods and lures for the planet. Our intention is to give the highest possible quality to the fisherman and in parallel take care of the environment, we believe that this is the best way to connect with nature and its species.
